As we build the SongHomes, we learn the songs to each of the elements. The songs to the forest (Ochosi) as we harvest the trees, the songs to the metal in our tools (Ogun), the songs to water (Yemanja/Ochun) and to fire (Shango), and so on. There are also work songs for keeping the rhythm and pace of working. The songs are in Yoruba, principally. When finished, we will have the physical embodiment of our prayers to Earth.

Specializing in Afro-Indigenous building techniques
You can learn to build a SongHome. SongHomes are a place for Spirit to dwell on Earth - a small temple to honor our Ancestors. These structures can also become a small studio in your backyard that is available to someone coming out of incarceration. SongHomes can alleviate homelessness, provide a space for our Elders, or be a solution when floods or wildfires, or hurricanes threaten. SongHomes are built with the Songs of Love and Gratitude to honor the Universe/Olodumare and teach us how to work together to achieve good things!
